Paul Painter has been a civil trial lawyer in Savannah for more than thirty years. He graduated from Georgia Tech and from the University of Georgia School of Law and served as president of the law school's alumni association. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and served as the College's state chairman for Georgia. He served as a member and as chair of the Georgia Board of Bar Examiners. He is a past president of the Savannah Bar Association and of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. He has been named one of Georgia's "Top 100" lawyers by Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine since 2004 and is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America." His civil trial practice emphasizes business litigation, and he has handled matters involving breach of commercial contracts, business torts, corporate governance, shareholder disputes, professional liability (lawyer, accountant), product liability and class actions.
